Scamming has no season and with more people than ever working from home, scammers seem to be working overtime! Scammers often use lies and fear tactics to separate the average person from their money. Knowing the red flags can keep you, your wallet, and your credit safe!

Beware of calls, emails, or letters that contain any of the following:

1. "Your Social Security Number has been canceled."
2. "You won the Lottery!"
3. "I can't wait to meet you in person."
4. "A warrant for your arrest has been issued!"
5. "I'd love to meet you but I'm working offshore..."
6. "You have one day to make a payment."
7. "Use this check to buy a gift card and send it to..."
8. "Wire the money to my bank in Hong Kong..."
9. "Your Grandson is in serious trouble."
10. "Earn high income working from your home.
